Sarah has been researching business models in the non-profit arts sector since 2004. Her focus is on working with individual organisations to rebalance their income generating activities to reduce dependency on grant funding. Over the past decade Sarah has built a series of models which demonstrate alternative approaches to the funding of core creative and artistic activity. This work has been published widely and has informed both UK funding policy and that of a number of governments around the world.
The Culture Benchmark provides a data set to support this strategy and research work.
